China can build all the carriers they like, but until they have the experience to make use of them (USN has had 100 years to develop the carrier tactical doctrine for example). This isn't something China can cut n paste like their KJ-600, J-35, or literally just straight up steal like the J-15. There's going to be a lot if stumbling, a lot of false starts before China has a workable, scalable carrier doctrine.

Not remotely true. China has abandoned its future planned aircraft carriers. Even its newest submarine just sank on its own. That said… China is finished and will not survive the decade. They cannot survive their demographics. In 7 years China will loose 82% of its “productive working age population” to old age and death and in 28 years Chinas population will be halved for the same reason. Chinas end will likely come sooner as the world abandons them as a manufacturing/supplier. Exports have dropped 40% this year. The real estate industry has collapsed and banking is following. China will go down in history as an example of what not to do, and no amount of propaganda will change that.

These PLAN carriers are mostly for show. Poor trained, poorly designed and poorly managed, all China has shown is its ability to build vessels and not very well at that based on foreign analysis of available sea trials data. Maybe the Type 004 will be closer to actual functionality and nore rhan a floating barge but that is at keast a decade un the future and vy then these first xarriers nught not even be sea worthy
