Nothing went wrong... But the van did reverse onto the carriageway. If there was an accident, he would have been declared to be at fault.

Not necessarily. As the grey car saw him reversing and had time to stop. the on coming traffic had stop and also deemed the road safe. The grey car could be be done for driving without due care. If there was an accident.

It's not illegal to reverse onto a road. (HCE) section 200. It only states to try not to reverse from a side road onto a main road. Also states you should if possible to reverse on your drive so you don't have to reverse into traffic. The grey car was in the wrong. more than enough time to stop and let the van out safely.

Dashcam did let him out. *(HC 201) look it up*. Following that, I don't think this would be classed as a driveway. In my opinion, the Toyota was in the wrong.

@@keyworker3621Because most were overtaking and trying to drive correctly. The Mercedes was attempting to move out the way for the van to overtake, but couldn't as this clown was undertaking. If you can't see anything wrong, then do us all a favour and hand in your licence!

@NobodyI991 we are watching 2 different videos. The videos is sped up. Half the speed and watch it again. Everyone that was undertaken was dedicated to not moving. Your that type of driver that moves out 200yards and over takes a 50mph at 52mph. If there is space to undertake there is space to move over •

Both of them van for cutting him off and then him for undertaking in the mid lane which is only allowed if the traffic is moving slower in the over taking lane than the speed limit
