Once again, a narrow, American view that doesn't necessarily reflect the reality of Russian politics, ambitions, perspectives and history. And these people are experts? If you want to get an actual understanding of the Russian psyche within the context of changing world events, I highly recommend you start off by picking up European and Central Asian history books. But as far as KZbin is concerned, definitely listen to Stephen Cohen's lectures. Unlike those featured here, he has been studying and teaching Russian politics and history for decades and has a valuable perspective to offer on Russian relations and the current crisis in Ukraine....if people actually listen....good luck!
