Cristo Redentor always feels so melancholic. Usually it seems like by the time you get it everyone just wants to kill each other over stupid ideology or resources or God knows what other excuses. The benefit of it is amazing. "Congratulations. You got it, no one's really going to notice though." The same turn wars are warming up and starting. The little tune doesn't really help either. Though at least as Christian myself I find the quote somewhat comforting, somewhat. Game makes you think about what you do sometimes if you get immersed. You start to think about the wars you kick on in game and think "was it worth it? I hope so." I don't think I'd really want to run a nation.

Great video... but the deal here is the engine is having growing pains from trying to be more than a game tool ... A realtime rendering platform for the likes of Disney and other major live media outlets "Weather Channel etc" Its even written all over the pricing model changes that came this year. UE5 is trying to grow into more markets and unfortunately the Game Developers are having a hard time knowing where the line is between "game tools" and "realtime rendering tools"

Here's a thing, Rockstar always has parodied real life stuff in their games and GTA is no exception. That's their job and they hella good at it. Trust me, they'll make the game fun, they're one of, if not the most creative companies, at least that I've ever seen yet. I'm not speaking from a blinded rockstar fan's perspective, I'm just laying down the facts u missed in the video is all.

GTA going forward, will need to be set in the past. I vote that GTA 7 be set in the 70s, it would be great....set it somewhere like Chicago or Detroit.

I'm yet to finish the video so I'll update as I go along. Have you thought that these early issues could be just that, game companies have not yet learnt it's full capability, and of course they all wanted to be the first game to use UE5, right? So rushed. And as for the layoffs, not that it's good or wise but it seems it's due to the new tools in UE5 make things a lot simpler, so skills are becoming redundant. For example, the Ai driven procedural landscaping tools, they are amazing. So many positions would have been design and asset creation which is just no longer required, sadly. Devs need to unionize against Ai as fast as possible if they want safety, but that's another subject. I liked the comment "adding visuals to middle size game" - I agree. I have played Vampire survivors, this year and OMG what a game, so fun, so many features baked in to such a what looks at first glance a simple boring game, but it is not that at all, and it's pixel retrovania style, love it!

I'm not sure it's a conspiracy, rather than incompetency. The explanation given for the missing tracks is all the tracks had to be updated to be compatible with the new tire model. If that's true I can understand, however it doesn't show where 8 years of progress has gone. I think there was some serious missallocation of resources over at Turn10, and it's sad to see the game be released in this state. The lack of tracks really shows, especially since the weekly rotations of lobbies limit the tracks you see further, meaning you'll only see the same 10 configurations for some god awful reason

We all know Rockstar ain’t the same bad boys of gaming anymore. I’m still waiting for a Manhunt 3, Bully 2 and Mad Max 4. But since we didn’t even get a Undead Nightmare 2, I just ain’t excited for GTA 6. I was into Red Dead more and even though I love Red Dead 2. I think it’s a technical achievement for Rockstar but how they abandoned it, did hurt. But who knows, I heard they’re gonna go a bit PC with GTA 6 🤷‍♂️ But yeah overall, it’s getting annoying they ain’t just gonna drop a trailer already or even gameplay. We’re all waiting for it, I think the game will probably come out next year, towards the end maybe.
