Thanks this is great. It has helped us twice now, however dryer is still losing heat quite often. We reset and it lasts about a week then have to do it again. Any ideas what might be wrong? TIA. Any advice is appreciated.

Ayda bir veya iki defa temizleriz ayrica haftalik olarak deterjan yerini de temizlerim. Lastigi unutmamak gerek tabi kötü kokuya neden olur. Düzenli temizlenirse . Temiz çamaşırlar demek

just reset the heating element on a hotpoint tumble dryer, before today the high mode when switched on would trib the main cb in the fuse board. lately the heater hadnt been working at all. cleaned out the lint tray, hoovered the bottom of the lint tray area, took the extractor hose thing off the back, cleaned that out, hgoovered inside that, reset elemtn and boom, working and high mode working too... saved myself 250 euro.. thanks for video.

Great video. Is this typically done when the dryer isn't heating up properly? How does it manage to get to the point it needs resetting? Just curious. Thanks for the video 👌🏽

Some of these dryers are subject to a recall because they catch fire. Best to check on the Hotpoint service web page and check on "Safety notices" on the bottom of the page. Worth checking !!

Just in case anyone else has this issue. Some of the thermostats also have a switch on the back of where he's pushing the pin in. In that case, push the switch on the back first THEN push the pin in and hear the "click" sound :D. That fixed mine anyway
