Welcome to my KZbin channel. I am a proud mother of an amazing adult son who has a diagnosis of autism. I have devoted my life working diligently caring for my son while sacrificing my career and at times neglecting myself. I was determined to make sure that every need that my son had was met. Although my son has been living outside of the home for several years in a residential program, I was never able to balance caring for him and myself which eventually began to negatively affect my mental and physical well-being. However, after several years of self teaching, counseling and prayer I was able to learn how to balance advocacy and self-care to ensure that my well-being was no longer being neglected. I am now in a new season where I want to eat healthier, exercise more, tap into my creativity 🎭, learn new skills, boost social connections, travel, build wealth and become a part of a great spiritual and prayerful community.
