What? 230K with 197 hp faster than the V6 with 218 hp? That 230K is tuned! It certainly has Modification ECU re map and the large Pulley with the longer belt. I have a Stock 230K automatic from 2002 and it takes exactly 7.3 sek from 0 to 100.

lots of granny shiftung... and 100 on speedo is not real 100kmh. they show at least 5kmh faster

And the best engine is....NONE that is lister here. The OM 606 with a proper tune will outperform any AMG. Not to mention the 320 cdi in stock form is faster than any petrol engine except AMG. Plus we have the 2.7 cdi that is a great tuner also. With only a stage 1 is faster than most petrol engines.

and the best engine is ...NONE of what is listed here. The 320 cdi with the 3000cm3 diesel is faster than petrol and has more torque. AMG engines i at another level, but that 3litre diesel with a proper tune has no match when it comes to torque, power, reliability and fuel consumption. So is the best engine.
