Was it a thing for all American men to wear super high waisted trousers or was that just what elvis did?

Elvis was definitely genuine. One thing I noticed is how he looks here and then how he looks when he passed. In 5 years you wouldn't think that it would have that much of an effect on someone but it did , certainly for Elvis. Time was his biggest betrayal and he payed a price for it. People always say why you defend Elvis like he's so innocent. Well He's not, but he paid his dues and paid them with a high price, he payed with his own life.

Diplomatic and polite Elvis should be a lesson for so many of today's "artists". As he mentions... can't criticize, there's room for everybody in the Business, it's very hard to live up to an image, keeping his views on the military to himself ("I'm just an entertainer")... even being polite to the woke sh@#-stirrer who asked the women's lib question 7:37. Class Act Elvis knew what fans wanted. Entertainment, unlike many of today's artists, ramming stupid opinions down their throats.

It's obvious how much Elvis really loved his daddy. Vernon Presley was Elvis's everything. Vernon often toured with his boy Elvis quite often until Vernon got sick and he wasn't feeling well. Elvis knew his father was not well but here he was. Introducing his father to the audience so they can meet his father. His Daddy.

This man was so famous, he was spoken about by Young kids who were not born 10, 15, 20 years after he died. Everyone knew who he was when I was very young. I mean very young kids my age, we all knew who he was. Probably one of the first famous people I can remember. Him and MJ, but MJ was still alive. Elvis died nearly exactly 11 years before I was born. Nearly to the date. His legacy will always live on

I don’t think anyone was ever or will ever be as handsome as Elvis. Not overly chiseled, but enough to be mixed with a soft face. Which is perfection.

I noticed how back in 1960, Elvis didn't have that stereotype "Elvis" accent; he had more of a Southern drawl, if anything. No surprise there, as he WAS from the South (Memphis, Tennessee to be exact).

I remember when my parents were trying to see the Elvis Presley concert in las Vegas concert but it was all booked. We had to see joan rivers instead I was 5 years old them Elvis Presley entourage rushed Elvis into the doorway I was trying to get his attention. There was so many people around even in 1975 he looked very large with his white outfit on.
