My life as a stay at home parent is difficult because of my reduced wealth. However, the sheer scope of the happiness in my life as a direct result of being completely available for my daughter and her upbringing far exceeds the materialistic "happiness" I experienced before she came into the world. Sure it would be nice to take amazing vacations and buy expensive things. But, the tiny amount of time I have with her is irreplaceable and more important than any car or vacation.

His views about this capitalistic society is real, and honest. However, how he chose to sustain happiness, or a successful life, do not fit every human even around his neighborhood which having the same brought up environment. There is no one formula for all the lives in this world, and there is no one medicine that can cure all kinds of sickness. What his formula of happiness can only be taken as a reference. For me, lower my expectations, my life could be mundane, or meaningless, I can be a nobody, not someone important. Then I choose my own comfortable lifestyle, work for it, try new hobbies (healthy ones), explore new communities, meet and learn from new people, choose to live around healthy relationships. Of course... make enough money for the living. What I am more interested in his knowledge is about marketing. Since he is a marketing professor, teaching 4200 students and made millions for NYU, what was his formula of building successful businesses.

Wow it's weird how I heard this a few years ago and now I think Scott Galloway is wrong. First AI is going to change everything but I want to put my money there either I would get a government job military police or fire play the long game security they have a pension and health care the rest of your life 🙏. People like Scott accelerate is super high how many people lose everything trying to go for the big bucks. Oh there's another downturn more layoffs even for rich people another bubble all the while the government public sector steady secure pensions and healthcare.

Thats why you should never hire consultant for long term management/issues of your compagny. Like valuation they will always go for what you pay them to do aka say (eventually never solving the issue cause you wouldnt need them anymore lol)
