Great video. You've been able to ride in a lot of nice places. I think you did a good job covering a lot of topics. I liked that you said "the group can only go as fast as the slowest rider." Once they fall behind they'll never catch up until you stop. Here are a few items I think about: Have one of the slower riders/devices as a pace setter near the front. Don't let the riders get stretched out too long (depending on the size of the group). The front of the group should not go through too may traffic lights even if they're green. Eventually the guys in back will get stuck at a light and stretch the group out even further. Pause long enough for the riders to regroup every so often. Maybe 10-15 minutes if you're riding fast, or more frequently if you're in the city making frequent turns. When you set a time for the event, publish the meet-up time as well as the ride-out time (30-60 minutes later depending on the size of the group and length of the ride). People are always late so this gives them a window and they'll know they'll have to hustle. Have someone assigned as the caboose/sweeper. Their job is to stay in the back with any stragglers or accidents. They need to know the route. Comms are a good idea to have on a group ride, especially between the front and the back. It could be radios, helmet comms, or Bluetooth with a social media talking app. They need to be able to communicate accidents, route changes, etc. It's polite to let someone know when you're dropping out. There's no reason for the whole group to wait and wonder if you're going to catch up. Don't be 'that guy'. Be respectful to riders and to the community and its guidelines. Don't do anything stupid. This may be the only time someone has seen a group of PEVs and the one guy riding crazy is how the story may be repeated later. "THEY were riding in the wrong lane." ; "THEY were running stop signs."; "THEY were weaving between cars."; "THEY were blasting music in the park."

im wondering if a seated rider would have been faster, ?
@greenwave8192 жыл бұрын
possibly on straights, and if you could just use pegs and they were higher allowing tighter turns without clipping. I just think it might still be harder to turn with speed while sitting.

One time on New Year's Day I sneaked into a multilevel parking garage at a medical center. No people or cars inside, not even a security guard. I had the whole place to myself!

I'm racing my first race today. Race at the ranch in Springfield Oregon. Any last minute tips? Its all off road. And I'm nervous as hell bro.

You will do great, wish I could be there racing with you guys, I’m mainly street racing but try to make consistent turns while maintaining speed instead of slamming on the breaks and accelerating after making a sharp turn if you can. Don’t be afraid to be aggressive with sneaking through the other riders at close spaces they will probably back off before you do and you will win, use a app to make sure you can hear your alarm on your wheel, video the whole thing and post all the footage! Good luck, be safe and go get em tiger!

The stronger low end torque of the EX.N on turns coupled with Chooch’s light body weight clinched him the championship. Very good choice of picking the EX.N.
