This might be a dumb question but I love a certain drink from a bar. They gave me the ingredients but no clue what they mean. Full Chery vodka, half watermelon pucker, fill with Cran and sour float blue curacao. Is full like a shot? And half is half a shot? Then fill with cranberry juice but what's sour? And float I guess is like on top with a spoon? But how much to float? Any help would be amazing. Thank you It's called purple cush at the bar

Hi, The recipe must be like: Cherry Vodka: 1-1/2. Oz, Watermelon pucker: 1/2.oz, Sweet & sour mix: 1. Oz, Blue curacao: 1/2.oz ( or 1.oz depending on the glass), Cranberry juice; to top . I'll try it. i wasnt sure if sour meant like a bartender sour which is like 1 part lemon 1 part lime and 2 parts simple syrup? ill check the sweet and sour mix. i asked hat was in it and they showed me their tablet so i have a photo of their tablet showing the ingredients. and i wrote it exactly how it shows. probably like a 12 oz glass or whatnot is what they serve it in. ill play around with both options. Nice drink I'm going to have to make this drink. There's a few things. In the video and the voice it says to dry shake the white rum, sweet and sour mix, and pineapple juice. But in the recipe in the description it says to shake with ice, white rum, blue curaçao, sweet and sour mix, and pineapple juice. Then in the video it shows pouring the blue curaçao in the serving glass over the ice but of course in the description the recipe the blue curaçao has already been shaken. Last difference is in the video you are seen stirring it but it doesn't say that in the recipe. Lastly, please don't use that robot voice, it's annoying and they butcher the name "Mermaid."

Hi, Sports lover You have correctly pointed out, you should dry shake it to avoid over dilution. Hosted a true blue moon party last night. Tried this one as an alternative to a Blue Moon made with gin and Creme de Violette. Received about the same results as the year before. Of the eight guests willing to give it a try, only four finished their drink, and no one requested another. Not anything I would make again on purpose.
