I really like that you showed the action from the perspective of the person tying the night. So many videos show it from the other angle and it makes everything so much more difficult good job!

I have been sewing for 60 years.....I made some wonderful complex Vogue designer coats, suits, etc. but, you showed me new tips! Bias binding has always been a pain. Not the right color in my collection, made bias binding turns out messy but useable .Just using bias cut strips the way you did; a revelation!

For those that are struggling, when you make the circle with the thread, make sure not to hold the end of the thread in your fingers. Go a bit past the end of the thread and hold there. Also, when pulling the loops downwards with your thumb, make sure to apply a firm force to get the thread past the head of the needles
