Thank you for explaining it to the rest of us who are not in that world and for having the courage to come forward and change. Changing your mind in light of new information is a mark of wisdom. Being 'herded' using FEAR as a mechanism is an age old method to control the masses. Good on you for breaking free of it. Fear is a lousy place from which to make any decisions. Moving towards love and being kind is the only thing that takes us in the right direction to build a better future. Co-operation over competition is very different energies. One is peace and the other is war and the emotions you feel when faced with anything ....think of them as your compass or guidance system. If you feel fearful move away from....if you feel love move towards.....simple.

Looks like it could easily be confused with the extremely toxic Hemlock too.

Ok goofy question but what kind of grinder are you using and have you tried it on turkey tail mushrooms?

I use a ordinary coffee grinder for the dry herbs. Some are better than others. I have used a variety in my years of doing this. If you are grinding turkey tails I would suggest using something stronger like a blender. I have a ninja type blender that could work. I use the small attachment that is for smoothies but it's got a strong motor. Good luck.

Great video! I've been working on going over medicinal and edible plants with my son (Joe) on our channel, and researching making liniments instead of salves, as carrying a salve in this summer heat would probably melt it 🤣 I also gave a subscribe in support of other small channels like mine with my son as well 👍

Thanks so much. I am new at all this tech business. I find that liniments are the way to go for certain skin issues because they get the healing attributes of the herbs where they need to be. Oils and salves lie on top of the skin as a barrier sometimes. Combining the liniment with clay really helps keep the liniment in place.

If I hadn't taken your apprenticeship class years ago, I would definitely want to take it after watching this introductory video. I love how you have categorized everything to clarify all the possibilities available to grow and use these herbs. Thank you, Lise.

Love it! Sounds easy enough to me. I'm going to give it a try. Do you take a tsp plain or mix it with things?
