Love your masculine projects, my hubby is a cricket fan too, coming from South Africa it was much bigger than here in scotland! I'm so sorry I fell off the alphabet challenge wagon! I would love to join in again this year and hopefully make it through to the end! xx

They are gorgeous Hilary love them all. I don't think it matters whether the papers are the same or different. Your tassels are fine. I would say that it you are using it as a travellers note book would you want a tassel on it if your taking it away with you. I think they are great and you are over thinking it.❤

Hi Hilary, good projects. My favourite is the one with the same paper. Your tassels are not scrappy. Adding several lengths of ribbon, even of the same colour, that can make them look more tasselly but it is still personal choice. I must have a go at making a travellers notebook, not done one before so thank you for the inspiration.

Wishing you all the best for 2025 and your retirement. I have been retired for a long-time now. You will wonder eventually how you ever had time to go to work. I joined my local W.I. 3 years ago. A friend dragged me along and I am so grateful she did. I have made lots of new friends and joined in so many things. Craft, walking and lunch groups. I started a book club last year.
