1) In terms of difficulty, how does Rock fall compare? Obviously it's double black instead of single black, but was wondering how it compares and if it's really that much more technical than Rock Fall. 2) How do you get so much of the horizon in your video? I have a GoPro chest mount and it seems like it's just mostly pointed to the ground when I'm leaning over. But you get it pointed up so much better. How are you accomplishing that? 3) Thanks for posting the rock fall experience. It's nice to see this run recorded by someone not a pro-level shredder.
@socialbirb89403 жыл бұрын
to get horizon, point the camera at about 45 degrees up from your chest while standing. when you bike, you lean over in the attack position. The 45 degree angle will help compensate for that and angle forwards instead of down.

Awesome shots. I lived in CO for a few years and had a season pass to Trestle for a season. What a summer. They were building Banana Peel back then (originally called Hot Wheels). I was invited to do the first wood berm-ladder drop feature with the trail crew after hours. On a small bike, with an open shell helmet, with a little bit of yolo attitude and peer pressure, and somehow I made it out alive. Glad I moved and avoided the pressure of doing the finished line. It looks rowdy! Just discovered your channel. Cheers from Northern Cal

**If you're wondering what that strange rattling sound in the background is, I replaced all of the cables on my bike, but lost the foam inserts to stop the cables from rattling around inside my frame. I apologize and will have that fixed for the next video!**

air pressure in bladder wont make it harder imho. To make it hard you need different spring pressure in bladder just put pressure to the oil circulating in the shock.
@BikesandBeers4 жыл бұрын
After playing around with the air pressure in the bladder I've found it creates a similar feel to adding compression dampening to a tradition IFP shock. You're right in that going up a spring rate will make a stiffer shock, but since the Jade X does not have compression dampening adjustments the bladder pressure is used. The 350LB spring weight is good for my body weight, I'm sitting at the correct sag amount. Just needed a little extra support for those faster sections!
