Would it be possible instead of using the carabineer with the HMS-knot, to use a pulley on the carabiner and have a belaying tool like bucket or a Grigri ? Also would similar way be good to use to help a climber get up a difficult bit ?

3:49 What's that climbing webbing? Model/company and width in milimetres?

Climbing webbing, width 18 - 20 milimeters. Strength atleast 15 kN. This holds together your climbing harness, VF lanyards, fixed lanyard - if used on horizontal or suspension bridges and restloop so make sure its certified atleast 15 kN. Can be from a Singing rock - those are standard 20 kN.

what kind of rope are you using? dynamic or static and which diameter?

Dynamic, use thinner one (they have 8mm, but I personally use 8.7mm for better friction with some ATCs) and 30m long (or longer if you are willing to carry it).

climbing rope, dynamic or static does not matter as you only lower and not fall. The thickness looks like 6mm, plenty enough for rescue operation.

You should use the resting loop, the difference is that you should always attach the end carabiner higher than the harness so that the loop is tightened and not loose.
