how absurd to tell people going to be entertained during a war, that no one should be finding happiness, and they should be downfallen because of the war. And only ponder how many are dying. War is horror, and so are the people against Chaplin.

it is just shocking shocking shocking, but I really am stunned not stunned that the British police did nothing when she reported so many times... but yet they imprison innocent people on fabricated evidence (Guildford 4, Birmingham 6....), how is this a justice system they believe was a standard they set!!! look at the post office scandal, another shocking injustice (incomparable of course with this story but still something is rotten about this so called justice system)
