invent a device that integrated into the human body that stops unnecessary thoughts from entering the mind while engaging in productive activities such as studying, job interviews, cooking, business, learning to ride scooters, scooty, bikes, cycle, cars, e rickshaw, job doing, football playing, chess playing, carrom playing, meditation, yoga, exercise, learn new skills or things and even if we intentionally try to think about unnecessary thoughts from arising and doesn't allow unnecessary thoughts to enter the mind but notice that this device has no Negative side effects and make a rule all over the world that this device is free for everyone.

Growth hormone is illegal and can't be legally purchased. :( They can replace all other lost hormones in aging by HRT but THAT one (which we ALSO lose) 'they' will not allow us to have. They're busy trying to depopulate so they don't ant us ANTI aging......

To say it’s not transhumanism isn’t quite correct. One of the fundamental values and aspirations of any transhumanist is radical life extension which as far as I’m aware was the initial priority of sens when it was initially conceived, that is the medical control of ageing - no more age related disease regardless of how long ago we were born which is core to the transhumanist agenda.

Aging seems at least in part the symptom of a kind of slow motion stroke, with the functional losses appearing more gradually and much more evenly distributed than a normal infarct, but with ultimately the same result. I suspect viruses are driving this.

Insufficient drive-by comment about Ray Kurzweil. Ill-informed comment about transhumanists. Is she not informed about philosophy and the difference between critical thinking and fantasy? Transhumanism is a particular philosophy related to Aristotle's virtue ethics and extropy. Uploading is a future possibility rooted in science fiction.

That final question about the quality of the *made-made* mitochondria is very much the same issue with *all* man-made inventions. Planes crash and so do cars and computers due to *man-made* errors... Imagine what putting *man-made, bug ridden* mitochondria into mankind might produce. lol.. The white-boy species is dangerous and stupid.
@250txc2 ай бұрын
After just a little thought on this process and how the human body has evolved to take care of itself, this all sounds too complex to understand by the people attempting this work. Maybe in a few decades or centuries this might come to pass? -- If you put a new engine in a very old car, what do you really have? lol

I think given how successful SENS is with terms of it's fundraisers I think LEAF's idea of a merger between LEAF and SENS is ideal because it would basically be hastening development of needed medical technology as well as getting more people interested into it at a rapid rate with SENS handling the research and development and LEAF handling the advocacy.

Great discussion! A few comments. This theory seems to be a great analogy, however it begins to break down when trying to apply it to the actual biology. The Yamanaka factors are DNA-binding transcription factors, and thus the “backup information” would be the DNA where the factors bind, not the previous epigenetic patterns (such as DNA methylation). However, these factors dramatically induce change in epigenetic patterns (reprogram) which then alters the cell type and/or age of the cells. Thus, it seems that actually this reprogramming should work regardless of whether the “youthful” epigenetic patterns already exist. This would also agree more with the important central dogma of biology, but with the twist that current epigenetic patterns in the cell create the semipermanent expression of age. Thanks all!

Interesting stuff. I am still not clear as to exactly what this protocol is, I know that it involves Metformin and apparently growth hormone? My Dr. made me quit taking metformin because my A1C was consistently 5.1. I quit and stayed on Berberine, next time it was 4.9, I kid you not. I also use red light therapy on many body parts including chest and head and knees. Plus, I take DHEA, NAC. Glycine, Taurine, and others. I figure Ibam taking a good shot at it anyway. Plus, I go to the gym 5 times a week and lift heavy across all lifts. Not just a “Bench press Bro”. Anyway, I also take methylene Blue. Also, maybe all that will help.

Interesting. My first question. Where do the mitochondria come from? Are they grown in a lab or harvested? If harvested, where are they harvested from - blood/blood products, organs, bone marrow. Off the top of my head, my chief concern today is avoiding spike protein from Covid vaxxed people. If they can present 'clean' mitochondria and infuse these, this may be very promising. Lots of work to be done!

I think it’s obvious. Because if females outlive males in every species, then testosterone is actually harmful to the body. That’s why men have many more problems as they age including baldness. This isn’t complex at all.

We have grown our understanding, but we lost our longevity of life. The more we alter our food sources the shorter life we live in pain with medical technology. We need to stop altering our food supply and go back to eating simple foods and not ultra process food, products, synthetic foods, synthetic oil, and all this nuts so things that I've made us really unhealthy.
