Wow you're right, i didn't even realize! The only games he's been in since 3rd gen were Generations and the Stories games which didn't remix the theme. He's long overdue for a return, hopefully we see him again in Wilds or the game after!

Okay, so this is quite good, which was expected, as you cant really go wrong with the magnamalo theme. However the beatdrop is kinda mid to be farely honest. Which is a shame, as it is easily the best part of the original theme. The foreground sounds in 2:35 sound weird, does anyone know what instroment that is?

​@joshiboshi6878 Yea i hear what you mean with the beatdrop. I think unfortunately it's due to Puzzles being a mobile game and therefore having a much lower budget than main series for its music. It's still crazy what they've been able to accomplish with it tho! Also i think that instrument is a trumpet or some sort of brass, it just sounds weird since I believe the music for this game is made digitally. I'm no music expert though, so if someone else knows feel free to correct me!

@@bobsmith8405 i saw that too! I haven't come across it yet, but i still have 25 levels to catch up on if its there. I'm thinking it'll be an event though, because the icon is a onesie of lagiacrus and the other onesies came from the monster's events. I'll be sure to upload it as soon as i come across it though! @quitecatly Without a doubt! Lagiacrus and Zinogre's themes were the main ones I've been looking forward to along with Valstrax if he ever gets in

maybe it's going to be a locale theme in Wilds, with Wilds being a love letter to Dos and all in Sunbreak they gave a locale theme to Espinas (high rank great forest), so maybe they'll just slap a Dos village theme onto a locale or something

@@bowserwowser7212 I know, it is insane!! Kinda recently, i learned more about innovation in that limitations and available resources can breed it. This makes me think that with an around 1 min loop restriction and probably way less funding than the main series, the composers were forced to innovate with what instrumentation tools they had and only the best parts of the original themes. And I think by general consensus of all these comments, they were very successful!!

@@sergiodavidpillohuamanaqui9870 I'll have to re-listen to the two themes, but I'm pretty sure more changes than only the background vocals! Like for stygian it has the yukomo village melody in it (World's rendition did and that's where it comes from) which the base zinogre theme we got did not. The base one we got months ago also had an intro that was exactly like Rise's rendition which may also be why the vocals were more present in it too. Try to give both a listen again and see if you can hear what I mean, I could very well be wrong and not realize it!

@@quitecatlyyeah, The original Zinogre Theme had elements of the Original Portable 3rd Theme with a mix of Rise. Stygian here I could almost instantly tell is different. No vocals as it takes parts from World: Iceborne Zinogre.

@@bobsmith8405 I know! I'm very interested if other monster variants will get new remixes too! I think the only other subspecies in the game so far has been pink rathian which didn't get a new theme, but maybe it's because rathian doesn't have much of her own theme in the first place? Idk, guess we'll have to wait and see!

Idk personally i didn't think the vocals were that terrible since it seemed they were going for a more mystical vibe for rajang in rise. Not saying they're perfect, I think they are a little too loud/overdone in general. I do think this version sounds like a perfect mix of both, though! You have the ferocious strength of world and the mystical/rare creature vibe of rise both toned down so they compliment each other instead of contrast. They've done such a great job for this soundtrack so far!

@@monhanking No problem! I also tried figuring out how to datamine that but no luck for me either lol. I even tried using cheat engine on pc to give myself infinite lives which didn't work lmao. I'm glad others like you appreciate this music like I do, the whole reason i started uploading these is because i myself couldn't find the ost from anyone :)

@@PrincessColumbidae lmaooo yea it's a lot. I took it slow and took advantage of the infinite lives boosts capcom likes to throw out if you don't play for a day or two. You'll get there eventually!

@@Ray999MH I think you're right! The instruments sound very similar and I think I hear the melody too. It's still strange to me that it is so heavy remixed compared to the rest of the ost and their covers lol. Also not sure how Jumbo is connected to caves, I never played dos myself

Yep! I believe there's a few different ways to get in there. I didn't know you could use only use Giant's Deep to get to the 6th location myself lol, that's crazy!

Yea I agree, that's definitely what I'm unhappy with the most during and after making these. I tried being gentle with my controller sticks to make it look smooth, but you can only do so much manually and there's no mods (to my knowledge) that make the camera smoother :/
