Love the natural look by using long stems of dried honeysuckle along with other flowers. Bunny is cute too.. I have a Big Bun Eastern Cottontail in my backyard. The foxes, skunks and bunny get along - amazing.

Are all of these fresh flowers or a combination of fresh and artificial? If fresh, how far in advance of the event do you make these? What's the best way to get the freshest flowers to make my own? Do I just go to my local florist? How should I store them until I'm ready to assemble?
@ahnersfloristgreenhouses23902 ай бұрын
@@Beautiful13075 Yes, both of these are fresh. I make them a day or two ahead of time. I would call and talk to your local florist and ask them what you’re looking for. If you give them a fresh cut, put them in clean water and store them in a refrigeration of some type, you can make them a day or two ahead of the event.

Howdoyouick hydrangeas correctly? I know they can wilt quickly if they are cut at the wrong time….also how to dry them would be helpful
@ahnersfloristgreenhouses23904 ай бұрын
Thank you for asking... It's best to cut any flower first thing in the morning, this way the flower is more hydrated. You need to place the stem in a bucket of warm water so they draw water up. If the flower is very dehydrated, you can float the whole stem in a sink for 1 hour and it should perk right up!! To dry the flower, I just leave it sit out, no water, I use the dried stem tucked in displays. Thanks!!

I’m in a zone 6b and I’d like to plant a 6” pot arborvitae, pansies and ivy to hold me from Fall to winter. Have you done this before in a coco liner rack? I’m concerned about the arborvitae’s roots growing through the coco liner.
