Sorry to play songs that reminds you guys very hard times I’m close to that time my dad JD poor riddle. It’s not long away and it’s painful. He was a great dad so that your dad in heaven and smiling on you that cookie crumbles some people just catch screw, I got screwed another way, but I’m DJing in the morning for you guys. Send a list of what doesn’t make you sad because I don’t wanna make everybody sad have people and crying about a loved one or whatever doesn’t make you less of a man, but it sure feels better, I’m not saying McDonald’s and they won’t have a milkshakes. I mean real life we didn’t have control of you guys. I wish you the best your father would have and still looking down. I know God exist. I wouldn’t be here to leave this message exist your dad you’ll see him at your time, hopefully that’s not. I don’t wanna make you guys you gotta send something like a list of what won’t make you sad take it easy.

I’ve been listening to this song for exactly a decade now. I first discovered Neil Young when I was 24, and the lyrics immediately struck a chord with me, reminding me of my relationship with my dad. Ten years later, just last week, I had a heartfelt conversation with my dad, who’s 71 but physically feels much older due to a lifetime of struggles (long story). That talk made me realize he doesn’t have much time left, and this song hit me just as hard-if not harder-than it did back then. It’s been a tough road for him, dealing with his health and a lot of solitude, something I can relate to in my own way. This song brings back so many memories of my childhood with him, moments I now cherish even more deeply. I just needed to share this-it’s raw and real. Dad, I love you more than anything in this world. Always.
