Attacks are based on multiple factors. 1. Game Difficulty setting 2. Moon setting 3. Number of survivors 4. Number/size of buildings 5. Number of turrets 6. Number of days in game 7. Amount of stored items, food, and materials There are mods that you can use to manually adjust the spawn rate and size. If you try the Project-X mod it automatically kicks up the difficulty because you’re able to hire an insane number of people.

Your base is massive! It’s a defensive strategy I haven’t seen others employ. To separate your storage from the rest of your complex is another interesting choice. Need to see more. Such as how handling distance, weather, light and larger attacks are repelled.

@ save time and place it close to your workstations. If you do a freezer room, make your kitchen and other equipment that uses perishables next to the door. Non-perishables like silicon, cloth and electronics can be stored inside without freezers. Keep those near the tailors and workbenches. Limiting the amount of time and energy it takes to move stuff frees you up to do many more things. I’d also try to keep the base/home centered in your walls. When animals attack, they path to the closest people using the clearest unobstructed path. If you have no open gate, they go straight through the walls. Shelves and storage can go back to back to save space. So against the wall you have a shelf, then a path, then back to back shelves followed by a path, etc.

After I built the base I realized I def didn’t lay it out very good but it is what it is! Was my first play through as well as my first time playing a game like that really rim world I never got far in it kicked my ass non stop it’s one I definitely should go back to!! I can’t wait to do another play through of this game!! Have a wonderful week!

@@SmokeyPRiMeTiMeOfficalwhen you had trouble placing the staircase, you had a lightning rod in the way. It’s why the stairs went sideways. Stranded is a great game. From my understanding it has a skeleton crew of developers who are still actively working on it. It’s sad that the other game they brought to life ended support, Surviving Mars. That’s also a very good survival game. Different kind of micro-management.

I hate flinch so I build against it, Which sacrifices ads a bit but with the weird rotational aim they have in this and being on mouse and keyboard you usually have to adjust a bit before shooting! So I find flinch resistance gives me that adjust time before the flinch kicks in from them shooting at you!
