We lived in Grants Pass for 30 years. Raised 3 kids and loved my work.

I don’t even know what my title would have been. For three years I decommissioned GSM towers, installed LTE primarily for AT&T. installed all equipment in shelter, can script and have done all tower types/rooftops/water towers… ext. seems like they always called the shelter guys field engineers in the lead person on the tower top hand…I’ve been everything except for the foreman. I just called myself the really tired guy that worked all the time and slept in an F450 a lot.

Too much street noise from vehicles in GP. And when you get by the freeways, the semi's make everything shake as they go by. Too much traffic.

As a boy I enjoyed camping up there in the mid 1970’s but it did get warm/hot in the direct sunlight during the summer, I loved putting my bare feet in the spring to cool off. Back then there was a lot of freaky people dancing around a big pyramid shaped rock where someone painted on a big eye, that was the first time I saw boobies, lol. We set up our tent at the edge of the meadow so the shade would keep us cooler. A one time while we were sitting around the campfire I saw a huge ball of light come up from the back side of the mountain very slowly then in an instant it zoomed off where it was just a blur. And yes, Sasquatch does live around the eastern side of the mountain. At the time we were living in Dunsmuir then Mt. Shasta city.

Nah. 😂 it worked, but just decided to go with a regular Prius. If I had a Prius C now I would just lean the front seat back and sleep in those.
