Emma, Amelia Earhart and I have the same hometown! She's waaaay older than me, though. She was born in 1897. She was an aviation pioneer. She was the first woman to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. She disappeared over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 during an attempt to become the first female aviator to circumnavigate the world. She set a bunch of other aviation records as well. She promoted women's rights and commercial air travel, She was quite the lady for her time!

I’d love to get this box every month! One day soon. I also have decided not to buy Non size inclusive patterns anymore. I had a bad experience with two companies who updated their sizes but made you repurchase the pattern instead of provide the additional sizes or offer a discount. I decided to just keep making the pattern that I adjusted myself. It made me realize that I did alot of work to make it fit me, my least favorite part of sewing and I should support companies who choose to make size inclusive patterns on purpose from the start. I understand they need to make a profit, but it just made me think differently about my purchases. What is your favorite size inclusive pattern company? Right now I am enjoying chalk and notch. The Shay is on my list to make. I know you love the fringe, I need to make it a second time as I didn’t like my first one. I need to go up a size.

I don’t really as I’ve tried a couple of times and find the whole process of making and making sure video is rolling plus editing stressful. Plus time for sewing is somewhat restricted at the moment so need to make it enjoyable than a task xx

I loved this although I had seen all the patterns. I have bought the Brynn cardigan and Rika pants. I fractured a few ribs a month ago and that put paid to any sewing, but not buying 🤣🤣 - my stash has had some growth!!! However I have managed to finish my Thea trousers. My next us to try the trudi turtleneck and if that fits nice, I am going to add the neckline to my fav vogue jersey princess seam dress to turn it into a winter version. Really check out that Canva pro, when I had my dog training and day care business I used Canva a lot, so went for the pro version but found that I was still paying for images etc, so I went back to the free version.

Howdy. I have been sewing up some Sweet Cheeks Sweaters by Pattern Emporium. So easy and so comfy. I also made my first Marnie blouse by Tilly and the Buttons. Love! The next one is cut out and waiting to be sewn.

What a great selection of patterns Emma. After two "no weekend" weekends, I have just one day left of THIS weekend to sew and I have to make ALOT of things. One is the Rika pants which I am thinking of making into shorts for work after I make the pants of course. I love the look of the Brynn cardigan. That is sending off serious 90's vibes as I used to love this style when I was a teenager back then. It's going to be some really horrendously hot temperature toward the end of the week so it's time to ramp up the spring/ summer sewing - I don't seem to have the time just lately.

Oh wow, sounds like a busy time sewing wise for you. Sewing in summer up in my space which is in the attic gets hot but in winter it’s freezing particularly if I’m sitting almost still at the machine. I’m loving the 90’s revival too - takes me back but will I have enough time to sewing the brynn and a couple of other things or will I miss the sew boat?!

Love your walks Emma, they always make me feel so homesick. I think my favourite fabric is your waterproof one. I haven't seen anything like that here in Oz. I know what you mean about the Pietra pants. I made some about a year ago, They look great off but when I put them on they were enormous, particularly at the back and the rise, not sure how to fix them. I should have done a toille first.😘
