I think, the problably sound better , but I haven't tried them because are more delicate, if the nylon unwound you basically have to change it. I'm not very careful sometimes so idk if they will work for me.

Nice playing! Both sets of strings sound great. The Fender strings definitely have a brighter top end compared to the D'Addarios

@ sure anything of the iii album. I can only find a tab for natures wrath. Anything else I need to hassle mates to write me a tab. Only been playing for a couple of years so can’t figure them out myself. But love playing their tracks!

How heavy is the V5 ? I had a V7 and it was around 5kg. V5 sounds really nice and does not have the complicated preamp.

You should have mentioned that you have foam (clearly visible) at the bridge. That greatly ameliorates whatever individual character each respective string set 'might' actually have.

I got everything open, both pickups and tone, I might got a bit a drive from the sansamps pedal, just at the point of break, but all the tone comes from how I'm playing, and is with a pick close to the bridge!
