Well Done. Brings back memories from my trip there in 1979 before any decking and lots and lots of mud.

Indeed. Negotiating the Sodden Loddens was an epic adventure in itself.

I thoroughly enjoyed your detailed trip visiting the Frenchman. Totally agree with your comments regarding the spiritual influence experience of being out in the bush. I enjoyed the area twice in 1965 ( 2 days) and 1975 (4 days) Bit old to return now at 82 so armchair viewing is appreciated 😁

Wow! That area of Tassie is so beautiful Humphrey. Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m thinking that in some sections of the tracks going down would have been more difficult at times than climbing up, but the effort you put in was soooo worthwhile. God’s creation is amazing and awesome. Thankyou for reminding me of that. Blessings and bear hugs, Lesley 😊

Thanks! Yes, it was much more beautiful than I was expecting 😁 For sure! It's a pretty technical track, but I've hiked a lot and my pack was quite light, so it was mostly fine. Just one section halfway up the summit that was a challenge, and didn't have a spare hand to film 😂
