hi Sharon, my granddaughter tried this the other day after I showed her your video. Can you tell me what paper you actually used as we only had water colour paper that was rather thick so I felt we couldn't achieve the blending effect like you did. thanks xx

Hi Sharon, I have been having a binge session watching as many videos on resin sculpture creation that I have found on UTube. I am a newbie to resin creations, but I am eager to get going. My nephew is getting married in a few months, so I plan to make a sculpture for them. I hope I manage 😂 to achieve something decent. Thanks for sharing your processes for success 🙌 ❤

Sharon, Last spring, (2024), I started a silicone mold of a deviled egg plate but I did not have enough silicone to cover the plate, Is it possible to add a new batch of silicone over the pate to complete the mold, or do I need to scrap it and start over?

Alas that is not my area of expertise, however I feel it would work. They say you can add silicone over silicone to cast moulds as it would ahead to it. Which makes me think it should work. Sorry I cannot offer 100% advise on this one.

I haven't done any lives for a long time but I am thinking of bringing them back now RL is settling down. This was just a standard medium viscosity 121 resin. I always leave 24 hrs between each layer and this one has a working time of 30min. But that always varies depending on the weather. Enjoy the back catalogue

I bought these ones nearly 3 years ago, I have used them for so long. My back catalogue would show you on the original visor. Its was from Esty I believe.

Glad you found me again and I hope you are all recovered now. They are really just a nice plastic not real crystals IMO hope you enjoyed my back catalogue.

@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt thank you! This time too thick haha plus I thought I'd be smart and use some type of sticky art paper like contact but thin and I couldn't get it off!!! I've just come back from a week away and I threw it in a bucket of water so I'll be brave tomorrow and go down to see what's happened 🙃 I won't give up though, took a full year to get a decent Dutch pour but it wasn't going to beat me 🤣😂💖

I can appreciate this. It’s still sunny and bright here in south Florida, USA. I’m also obsessed with beach scenes in all sorts of molds. Tiny tip: Your starfish are upside down. The lines in the center make the mouth. They feed on the ocean bottom. Thank you for the nice relaxing music in the background. Well done! Merry Christmas Sharon!
