Dude I hear ya, I drove for the first time in snow 2 weeks ago In Ohio and Indiana and It was nerve recking for me. People down here just ain't used to it and it showed. Mix bad drivers with snow and Ice and not having the equipment to plow or salt roads made for a mess.

No, too far south to usually get snow especially in the peninsula. The upper part might see it rarely, but I don't think anyone I Florida gets snow ever really.

Not at all, recorder setting snow fall. I've only seen it show maybe 4 times in 40 years and this bar was the most.

After driving to see family in SC 5 years after Hugo, dad told me you could STILL see where every 2nd or 3rd tree along highway 17 had been snapped off well inland. In places here you can see every 6th or 7th tree NOT snapped. Incredible.

im watching this video after reading, literally, hundreds of comments from gringos making fun of our situation in Acapulco after being hit by Hurricane Otis.. Comments like "poor building codes", crappy house" "third world building laws" etc. And what I see is that they are not an example for anyone. I see houses made of cheap materials of poor quality, houses completely destroyed even though Hurricane Michael had no gusts or even close to Otis, of which gusts of 205 mph were recorded. As we say in the Hispanic world "ignorance is daring"

Scary and so heart wrenching. We are looking at buying a place nearer Destin and to think of all that loss and hurt it makes you think. I saw all that Coors on the floor and thought since insurance is paying for that, they need to just hand it out to all the community.
