Why not just jump the car, start it up, make a 30 minute round trip on the freeway, and then you can finish it off with the charger if needed? Or is hooking it up to jumpers just a quick way to 'trick' the smart charger into realizing it's not a dead battery?

@@booyaah82 yes. Just to trick the charger then you remove the cables and the charger keeps going. These smart chargers only work if they detect the battery

I just bought a TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid mattress and adjustable base at Mattress Firm today. Will be delivered Tuesday. I couldn’t help but feel a bit pressured by the sales manager, however. It’s like…she wanted to be certain I didn’t leave there without getting the most expensive option they had! I’m used to a traditional spring mattress, so the foam sensation is a bit odd to me and I’m having many second thoughts. But, I live in such severe pain…from low left back into hip all the way up through my neck, shoulders, and upper arms, that I felt like if I’m going to “upgrade,” then I’m going to upgrade to something noticeably better and beneficial for my long term situation here. I worry about sunken spots, as I sit up in bed often, and I’ve never used an adjustable bed before, so this should also be interesting. I got one with a lumbar support and “massage” function, so we’ll see what I think of that also. The lumbar support I felt would be a necessity though. So, if this offsets the need for pain management visits and more surgery, then it’s worth it. If it doesn’t, then I’m going to live with eternal regret!

My current insurance with State Farm offered raising my deductible to $5000 from $1000 thus lowering the $2800 premium down to $2200. So I canceled for now. May be they can get me back next renewal.

Lucky you! Did Zander and find out mine similar insurance would cost $1000 more while bundling home and auto with Zander’s best price than my current insurance, Erie, here in MD.

How is it 4 years later? We had a ProAdapt soft about 5 years ago and after sleeping on it for 4 years my hips sank in so far my back hurt everyday, I’m 6 ft 210 pounds. The LuxBreeze is supposed to be denser and now they are on clearance. I’m curious as to how your soft version has been.

@@michaelwelsh9957 I want to do an update but just have not had the time with everything else going on in life. We still love it. It doesn't sag. It is still very supportive. I would say both versions we have has softened around 20% - 25% out of 100% being soft and saggy. They still look and feel basically the same. We were just talking about buying another set for our future vacation home. We sleep better on these than anywhere else. We sort of dread traveling without having our bed to sleep in.

Lux breeze firm here. Side sleeper and I find it perfect. Surgically repaired thoracic spine the support keeps my spine alignment. The mattress conforms to my position without that sunk in issue. I also use a cervical pillow to prevent neck pain since I also have stenosis in my neck.

We have this exact fridge and the EXACT same thing happened to us, in reverse order. The freezer side went, not the fridge side and we ended up losing lost of food due to the glass shattering AND hubby got a nasty gash from the glass. Grrrr.
