My grandmother was working as well and my great grandma used to take care of me when I came back from kindergarden. Grandma quit when my brother was born so that she could take care of both of us so that my mother could continue to work. My parents hardly knew how we were raised but the love & cultural grounding I received from grandparents & great grandma , grand aunt etc is something no money can buy today even with the zillion apps. I know it’s a progressive family where most of the female members worked but there is something about growing with grandparents that todays children miss
