I don't notice much of a difference in performance between it and whispering :) It feels less straining on my voice tho and I enjoy doing it!

Gotta be honest, the constant digging for info, the strange forgetfulness and the unexpected dismissal of all therapeutic issues made me somewhat suspicious, but in the end the wonderful, altruistic interest she was taking in us really convinced me of her professionalism.
