Thank you! Glad to hear I'm in good company. I'm actually surprised at the percentage I got right, so I'll take the goofs as long as I can edit them out. This is why I don't do conduct interviews :D. That said, there's going to be an unedited interview of me coming out soon on another channel, but don't think I fumbled anything on that one.

You give very good advice, as always. I will admit that it took a long time for me to get out of the habit of self-editing while writing and just write. You can always edit after the work is done. I will be ordering you book, Psycho Author, tomorrow. After I read it, I will pick up the one you recommended in this video. I look forward to the read. Also, dig the white hat and tie look. :)
@AegelisАй бұрын
Great point! A writer can get so bogged down trying to edit while writing that they lose track of where they're going or taking too long to actually tell the story. Thank you very much! Happy to hear this is a help, would really like to read your thoughts on a review of Psycho Author and/or Specks of Shadow, Flecks of Light. Also, feel free to keep in touch anytime at Goodreads or by e-mail. I admit, I am a hat guy who will go from formal to casual for a day or event. Finally, if I can support you in your writing projects, I would be happy to. You've got some cool ideas from our last discussion, let's make them a reality!

@@Aegelis Of course, I'll be happy to accept your help. You've given me good advice throughout the years and we definitely have the same love for storytelling. I am working on some short stories right now. Will be happy for you to read them when the first drafts are done. I also have something in the pipeline which you will certainly have some interest. There will be a series of stories from the point of view of one Rewne Danlund. I am developing a world for him to inhabit and a grand story for him to tell. :)

@@Aegelis I've written a few short stories in the past. I would have to find them and do a rewrite to touch them up a bit as my thoughts on them have changed. Loved that movie. Big Don Bluth fan my entire life. I did get some of those toys back in the day. I think when I went and saw that movie at the cinema, it was just me and my friend, which made me sad. I wanted it to do well, but unfortunately it bombed. Thanks for bringing back memories of good times, buddy. ☺ P.S. Yes, that friend was Bellarus. We've known each other for a long time.

I specifically had that Cale Tucker figure with the orange accents on the arms and boots. I was a poor kid, so I believe I had that one and one of the Drej. Was more a collectible purchase. Was kind of growing out of the playing with action figures phase of my childhood, but I thought they looked so cool, I just had to at least have a couple. Man, that was back when I was 12. Now I'm 36. What a nostalgia trip.
@AegelisАй бұрын
Great to hear from you! I've always been a Don Bluth fan, but missed the toys the first time around living in a small place at the time. Now that I have more space (pun intended) & saw these were not at all expensive on E-Bay, I was picking up about 1 per paycheck. Better late than never, having grown to appreciate the flick even more.

@@Aegelis When I was very small, I use to watch The Land Before Time and All Dogs Go To Heaven constantly. As I grew older, I fell in love with The Secret of Nimh, which scared me when I was too young, but it is now one of my favorite films. I also consider An American Tail to be one of the most original animated films of all time. A story of a foreign family of mice traveling to America, just very interesting concept. Once Bluth left Disney, he just produced some very different animated films that broke the ideals that we were use to. I just wish that the producers didn't hold him back so much. He was constantly being overruled with his films, especially The Land Before Time, which was not suppose to have dialogue and was suppose to tell the story solely through the animation. We also have him to thank for Dragon's Lair, which was a game that look like no other in the early 80s. He is just a master of his craft and truly loves animation.
@AegelisАй бұрын
@@Edwicker I haven't seen Secret of Nimh yet, though I think we have it since it's one of my wife's favourites. I was big into Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, especially when CrossGen rebooted the comics in early 2000's but both only made about 4 issues. Off-the-chain imagination stuff, though the gameplay wasn't really there in the initial games despite the amazing look.
@EdwickerАй бұрын
@@Aegelis Well, it was the early 80s. They were competing with Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, so that nice animation was very eye-catching in the arcade, and if you memorized them and could beat them on one go through without dying, you were the man for the next 30 mins. Someone might even buy you a soda. XD
