love these videos but music is a distraction, it's too loud.

I have made so many Florence's I no longer need the instructions. It is my favourite dress pattern to make ever. I find Liberty of London's Tana cotton lawn is a great pairing with the Florence. Thank you so much for a wonderful pattern. PS, the music is a bit loud though

precise and consice. would you sew it the same when finishing the armhole with a french seam as men's shirts are usually sewn?

El gran libro de costura es una burla, quien cree que hacer una funda para la tabla de planchar es un gran proyecto?

The honky tonk music is very distracting. Apart from that, very useful.

I like your tip to use a pin to secure the threads once you’ve gathered to the length you need - and to pull using the bobbin threads!

What a beautiful folk song - about making linen - it is an old craft isn’t it and the song tells you this. Thank you

Lovely video, beautifully brings the patterns to life! Now I’m inspired to make myself a pair of the classic trousers. One day I hope to make the trip from Canada to your beautiful studio in England. Blessings.

Oh, wow! I’m so glad to see the pictures in the book in motion! I’m very new to sewing and I just finished making myself a Heron Wrap Top. It is the second thing I have ever sewn and I was able to complete it successfully even without taking any sewing classes. Because of my lack of experience, I took a considerable amount of time to figure out some of the steps and I unpinned and redid a few minor mistakes. It took me three days from tracing to cutting to the final stitch. It looks and feels so nice on my body. I learned a lot about sewing and garment construction just from one pattern and making another Heron Top will be a breeze.
