THANK YOU PATTY! Watched your video twice, understood it, actually got the hang of it on the second braid, then went back and re-did the first braid!!! I was previously able to do dutch braids that go down the "sides" of my head, but always wanted to learn how to do the ones that go down the BACK of the head! I also never actually knew how to START any style of dutch braid, as in which direction to cross the strands first, and also didn't know that the whole "picking up hair" thing needed to start right away... I always did a plain braid for the first few crosses, then started picking up hair thereafter... no wonder those heatless waves always looked stupid at the front when I took the braids out... LMAO!!! This was my first try for this method, so I didn't fuss too much with the sectioning or tension. My braids are slightly loose and not entirely uniform, but I'm not bothered by that in the slightest because they look relaxed and beachy right now. AND they're going down the back of my head instead of the sides, so I'm SUPER HAPPY!!! I'm certain with practice it will improve! I found it easier to "not look" after I got through the first initial crossings as well lol. Btw, I did look at a few other tutorials over a year ago, and they were either confusing or painful for my neck and shoulders, so I stopped trying. THIS tutorial was TOTALLY DOABLE though!!! Thanks again for such an EPIIIIIIIC tutorial! Fawn 😊🩷 EDIT: it's the next morning, took out the braids, and the heatless waves are absolutely gorgeous!!! This is the first time in my life that I got noce looking heatless waves from dutch braids... SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! 😍😍😍

what do I do if I have really thin hair and my hair starts to fall out with the lightest pull.

When my hair is wet and I scrunch it it gets curly and stays curled when it dries but when I brush it ,it turns straight. when I don't scrunch my hair it stays straight. How do I have it then ?

My hair is like that but a little less volume and when I brush it dry it looses its shine

I've been doing this for years with short length non-slip claw clip, and it's AWESOME! I clip my hair up like this when I wash my face/do skin care, for yardwork or chores, and under a shower cap on days when I'm not shampooing my hair 😊
