Thanks for this. Nice quick review. I never had a good, proper overstable fairway. I got an awesome disc in look feel & durability in this slot, but the flight was too overstable and at a weight I couldn't manage and despite practice. I cant throw it and it tears on my skin a bit on RHBH. I think Yikun discs are typically beautifully stamped, but I thought the Fu was pretty ugly compared to this one

@@Iceman-disc this was by far my best round out there. I do love this course I feel it definitely plays to a lot of my strengths so I will be out there a good bit from now on for sure.

Seen you filming this (honk honk) As disc golfers and content creators ourselves. We are always down to help out if needed. Your content has an elegance to it. I also find it extremely helpful, how you in depth explain the shots and disc. Don't ever let low views discourage you. Something we all go through. The algorithms just don't know you exist yet. Shorts are the best way to grow an audience so you have viewers to enjoy your long form content. But I imagine you know that already. Happy Hucking!!! 🥏⛓️🙃

I fell in love with Yikun recently after my fiancee bought a Kui... so i'm going to start filling my bad with Yikun discs. what putter would you recommend as well as a low speed driver? i have been doing this off and on since 2014-present. but still struggle to throw higher speed discs.

@@butler_NA check me out on Instagram if you have it. I post alot of videos there. I putt with the lings personally. Very glidey flippy discs but great for my putts. The Hu is a good disc to drive with for flips and turn overs. Stepping up would be the Jun especially in Tiger plastic.

@@RobertMorrowSports the day my Hu came in I played a round with my friend. It's in the phoenix plastic. It reminds me a lot of champion plastic. It was actually a pretty stable/flat release on the first throw and I got it to about 300ft made par on the first hole. And finished the day for the first time ever just +4 over par. Definitely my new favorite disc so far.

Having thrown some of the discs, I will have to say the Tiger plastic is one of the best baseline plastics. Overall, seems like a really great starter set

Thanks I love the tiger plastic. I never thought I would ever throw any base plastic disc above a putter until I joined Yikun and used tiger.

I think a key missing disclosure for this video is the wind conditions. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it appeared you were throwing into a consistent strong headwind. Those discs would flip and burn that easily unless you have sneaky Brodie Smith arm speed.

Hey Kyle thanks for check this out and your interest in Yikun. We are looking for people who are active on social media and local scenes. While trying to grow more awareness social media post is key. We are going to be doing a big push this year and have a lot of new products coming out so it is definitely going to be an exciting year.

The new Esp scorch is not Flippy. More like 11 5 0 2. Mine is a little domey with a heartbeat. Flys like a vulture. Give it any Annie and it turns alot but keep it flat and flys straight with a glidey hyzer finish

Recently got this in dragon plastic. It is my go to for short mid range shots. Comfortable to throw and does exactly what I expect every time.

It is such a great disc. I love the feel and I use this disc all the times. Great forehand and backhand off the tee and approaching. Hope you enjoy this disc as much as I do.

Hey, I got one of these as a souvenir tournament disc with dedicated stamp, but I cannot find any info on the disc's weight. It's translucent with glimmer, so I assume it is the Phoenix plastic, but can you somehow know the weight? ;-D Btw, great review!

Yikun puts a sticker on the bottom to show weight. I would assume that is 170-173 I think is all they made these first runs of longs in so far

what is the difference between this and the Kui? The numbers are the same for them both. I notice that the Fu and the Zhu are the same. they have the same numbers and I do not see them fly all that different.

hey thanks for watching and asking. The Zheng is much more stable than the Kui. The Zheng is also flatter and feels more rounded edge than the sharper Kui which also is more domey. I like both but if I need a true overstable I reach for the zheng if I want more distance and straighter I am reaching for the Kui. The Zhu and Fu are very similar but the Zhu floats and lighter so if you pump it then it is going to have alot more turn than the Fu.

@@RobertMorrowSports thanks. I have been bagging only Yikun discs except for my MVP deflector because I noticed they do not have anything that is just super beefy in their line. I was hoping to join their ambassador team this year. Been loving their discs for the most part
