Great video. Don't be afraid to stretch it out a bit because I've had to basically pause and go frame-by-frame in parts to see what was going on in Photoshop. Also, I checked your videos page and you still haven't posted that one you mention at the end of this video about turning a 3d toy into a character. I'm sure it's pretty close to what is going on with this one but I'd still be really interested if you ever do feel like making it.

And I want to give it eyelids it’s going to be just a doll but with some metal parts like the rod to hold the head in and I want to be able to take the eyes out to do some affects

You have very good skills. I think that this would be really cool when using it on a puppet. These are all features that make the character very animated. It was hard for me to get good eye set since I just purchased the standard ones from Target. I guess I gotta keep learning.

Love it! This is really cool. Your use of colors here is spot on. The blues with the pinks, and the deep red- fantastic use of complimentary color. I love all of the texture work in the background. You have a very energetic style, I dig it. -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.

is there a way i could do this and have it blink?
@Equespecte6 жыл бұрын
Yes! The blink mechanism is a separate build, that goes over the eyes, I have a complex tutorial that features the blink as a cable control, but you could easily adapt a blink mechanism (cable or manual control) to fit over this eye rig.

Hey, I'm wanting to build a cable armature for a worm like puppet, I'm wondering if you could give me an approximation on the cost to build this one. Thank you in advance.
@Equespecte6 жыл бұрын
Sorry about the delay in reply. I actually had a lot of the material for this build in my scrap bin, so I had to kind of calculate what it would have cost if I had bought all the materials new. My best guess estimation is that you can do this for around $30-$60 depending on where you source your materials. The cable controls came from Wal-Mart and the sheet metal and hardware came from the hardware store. Sorry this isn't more specific, hope it helps...

What is Plywood Showerboard?? I have never heard of it. The wood you are using looks more like 1/8" Luan Plywood. Just curious, as I have never heard of that.
@Equespecte6 жыл бұрын
Tim McKinney it might be, for all I know. When I bought it, it was listed as shower board, displayed with that once sided white gloss ply that you can use as dry erase board. You can use pretty much any kind of scrap that works.
