Why wouldn’t you just have a single dedicated bag whatever is the biggest you use and make that the all around go to bag and not waste money and time to go smaller? If you have a quality bag with gear you just leave it all in there and should be comfy enough that you can use it whenever. Like I never once thought oh I need a smaller bag to go on a smaller hike I just grab my 40L backpacking bag and go it’s all ready and if I can carry it for months I to can carry it for a half a day or shorter hike. Why unpack and repack anything it’s all there

After about 30 uses, the ziplock is not working anymore. I won't bye that reservoir again and I do not recommand it unless you want a plastic waste that cost between 54,99 and 99,99 depending the size you take. Very bad design.

Next time pack in the order of relevance... meaning if you know its gonna rain dont pack your rain gear ar the bottom so you have to pull everything else on top out first getting it soaked while getting to the rain gear you already knew you would probably neeed before anything else. How does one clean the bladder of the ThermoBak® 3L 100oz Mil Spec Crux since it is permanently attached to the carrier? All the vids I’ve seen on cleaning are for unattached bladders.

This is pretty much the same logic I use. I like having everything I may possibly need during a hike on those longer hikes. Sometimes people poke fun at me for having a slightly larger bag (28L) for these hikes. But I've used everything in that bag at least once. I've even used it to help out those same people who were teasing me about what I carry on more than occasion haha
