I've been around metal fabrication wood shops and construction, and it's the same old thing"I can't work with a mask on"you have to learn how if you want to avoid the lung issues. OSHA calls it the Good Ole boy club, where if a senior guy doesn't want to wear his mask, it influences younger guys not to wear one. We've never had better respirator dust masks then we have today. I'd like to see things become more professional. A lot of big companies, like Nucor steel, cargile salt etc., have safety/health plans and measures. We should have a new breed of coal miners, that have the balls and the brains😮 to encourage the use of respirators, the companies can afford it.

I'm not going to scroll through all the smart ass comments to find the cool one's. Fact is our species is dominated by degenerate debauched homosexual pedophile psychos and gorillas are as this doc showed. Figure it out.

Obviously, 98.6% of genetic similarity is a very inconsequential number as they only contain about 5% of human intelligence and share even less of the physical appearance of humans. Yet, you will hear in literally every documentary on gorillas and chimpanzees because people are stupid.

Isn’t it about time that the human population should be reduced? There are so many people in the world, and numbers just keep rising - where is the food going to come from? Humans are taking over more and more land, and then human/wildlife conflict takes place. The world is not for humans only,it should be for all life.

Humans should wear surgical masks around wild gorillas so they don't transmit human diseases to the animals.

i can't stand anti-gun people. all of their pointed fingers, complaints, criticisms and demonizing are always aimed at law-abiding White men, every single time. especially if those White men are Christian/conservative.

I've put high volume pumps in deep mine runs to keep them from flooding. I've seen the results of what damage is done to well casing by a mechanical miner. Much Respect for all who made a life for their families in the mines!

I started watching this and stopped. Heres why. The guy Charles Annenberg is obnoxious and his lack of passion for the animals is palpable. Hes the wealthy son of a media tycoon. Walter Annenberg.

I live in Cagayan de Oro City in the Philippines, but I grew up on Coal River. I miss WV and my friends and family there. It is a beautiful place and will always be in my heart. The elementary school used to be the junior high when I was a kid. It was built in 1980 or 1981 I believe, when the old one burned down. As long as I remember there was a sludge pond behind it and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. Thanks for helping out the community there. The people there are great folks. I miss going up into the mountains in front of my moms house and just listening to the birds and enjoying the solitude. Here in the Philippines you don't have that. Everyone yells, drives their junk cars and scooters (they call them motorcycles?) This place is hell, but WV is HEAVEN! Whitesville used to have a lot of businesses, but there isn't much there now. Loren has the Daniel Chevrolet dealership and there is a Rite Aid and one other store. I still love and miss the place that I still call home.

I was born a d raised in Martin County, Kentucky. I lived right off the side of route 40 on Tomahawk. Martin County was always a dry county so everyone would have to go to the closest place to get beer over in Kermit, West Virginia. Being from Tomahawk it was a good 45 minute drive but heck it was over 30 to the nearest gas station or grocery store. On the grocery side we only had 1 little 10 aisle store that was called Inez Shop Rite owned by Darrel Walker. Most of my life till I was in my upper teens there was no such thing as internet, cell phones, 911, nor even city water. Which they still have no water and havent since they decided to put in a water plant. Always they have gotten large sums of money from investors and the state to get the people of the area clean drinking water but as of today September 22, 2024 its and I know this is not a word but its way worse than ever before. It is full of several different gases and other chemicals and bacterias Ive never heard of. Oh yea, also we didnt have not 1 red light. One thing that I remember the most was it seem like every single man in the county all worked in the coal mines. Thats all we had. I am not exaggerating at all when I say mining was the only jobs that the county had. I mean alot of houses where bigger than the grocery store that was mentioned and there was only like 2 gas stations. Also we didnt have not 1 franchise resteraunt like ya see everywhere. Nope we had 2 pizza shops and a Dairy Cheer again livin up Tomahawk there all a 30-35 minute drive and till I was in my 20's min wage was under 5 dollars. There was several coal mines a man could choose from tho. Seem like there was one around every corner from large to small and owned from giant companies with multiple wealthy partner to the smaller privately-owned mines. Always growing up there was one thing that was for certain, ya either done ya best in school and went on to college and moved away from the Appalachia or prepare to live a life of working in the mines especially if ya wanted to have a wife and kids and wanted more than anything else that they had all they needed and some of their wants as well. It was byfar the only way to make ends meet. But then the government and the people that vote from nowhere near there has completely destroyed so many families lifes. Then it makes me sick to hear people say things like it they own fault. They should move out. Id love to know how its so easy to just get and pack ya whole families thing and just go. Nevermind your out of work and have no money. Well nevermind Im not even gonna get on this rant for I already feel my blood pressure raising. It pisses me off to the exstreme hearing people down the folks where I come from when they no nothing about what it takes to live there. YES, since they decided to take the only way of living from my people I have lost so many people that I love. People I would have never dreamed of went to drugs as a way of surviving and putting food on the table and then on another side people began to steal. The violence began to grow enormously. I mean in the beginning it was the actions of a man watching his baby girl screaming and crying to the top of her little lungs with hunger and this man has been so desperately doing everything he could do to provide but now even the odd jobs one use to get are gone for all the jobs and buisnesses have closed down. So many have lost everything they own. They've watch their vehicles, homes, or anything else they owed on. Depression has set in and killed so many also. People Ive known my whole life and some that are younger have lost this battle and the depression a d so many other emotions that go into a man wanting to be able to take care of his family so bad but has lost everything and now doesnt even have a bank account to try to restart from nor a home above his head and then having to swallow his pride and mostly our manhood and beg family or friends for help to at least put aroof over your wife and babies head till ya figure something out. But the stress and the failure as a man to hold that promise that wife and baby will always be taken care of and provided for till death just gets the best of a man. So many that I cared for are now gone due to murder, suicide, penitentiary, also not many but some make it till sickness takes them at an age way to young. But growing up in mining and now 28 year underground myself I get it when I hear people say it takes a special breed to be a miner. But really all it took for me was the love of my family and the fact that if your from the Appalachians more than likely ya just born into it so simply put, ITS IN YA BLOOD!!!
