Flans successfully stopped himself from swearing in front of children for the first time ever, then said "Is kickass a swear word?" into the microphone

Criminally under rated documentary. Thanks for uploading this, it might be the best quality version on youtube.

Binge watched the show after it being suggested after reference to Johnathan Coulton on a reddit bit, and the recaps were certainly the best part of the show. Lets hope the ending of this is at least close to what we get out of the 2024 election "Some thing got better while other things got worse. Mostly everything turned out alright."

I've never seen a crowd clap along to a song and actually stay on rhythm like that. props.

There is real, honest, human poetry in a lot of his stuff...and then robots and homicidal that make you smile. Such balance.

That is so heart-warming to rewatch it still and every time realize that this is a pure gold for ages <3 Jonathan Coulton's music and performance is a pure joy :D Would love to gather with friends sometime and play all of those songs

1st time when I heard for Jonathan I was playing L4D2. I think it's the passing campaign. There was a jukebox and then I heard for him. I was like "Man, this song is golden". After that i listened to creepy doll, i fell fantastic, baby got back... Jonathan is surely most underrated singer EVER, but. At least there are hardcore fans like me who will always listen to him

I found this promo cd at a local record shop many years ago and the live versions of the John Henry tracks still blow me away. I wish they had played The End of the Tour but that version of She's an Angel still rocks my boat decades later :) Only ever witnessed one better iteration, in Boston during the Join Us tour when they started opening for themselves.

When I was in college in Michigan, some friends and I took the 90-mile trip to Chicago. While driving I gifted them with the treasure that was "Flood." There were a little uncertain at first, but by the time "Particle Man" came on, they were literally clapping along.
