Thank you for your interest in the 1:24 scale Dory Fisherman. The only listing I have right now for that scale size is on Shapeways.com which is going thru Bankruptcy. So my item is on pause. I will let you know what other options may become available in the future.

What type of primer do you use ?

I do not use a primer on this type of plastic Polyamide (SLS). Acrylic paint works good. If you want to put a decal on the unpainted surface. Paint it first so the decal will stick.

I have not built the Billings Bluenose. They have some fine models. I like their African Queen model.

Nicely done. Built one of these when I was a kid with my dad and it got lost in my move. I picked up another to replace. My dad died many years ago and it will be fun to build again this time with all the skills he taught me.
