The sound is not very good due to the lack of a microphone closer to the speaker. Lots of echo.

I have a new laptop that is in safemode due to security installed. When I use Edge to open zoom app it brings up the pairing code controller. I just want to use zoom. I don't understand the youtube videos explaining how to pair. They are not clear. Do I need to pair each time I attend a meeting? What is the purpose of pairing? What is the exact address I go to so sign in to to do the pairing. I still don't get it.

Interesting comparison Can you share what the Zoom setting in the Web UI was set to on the Poly X50 please? By default this ships set to 3x but can be increased up to 5x Zoom? Thanks

When you are not sharing content on the dual screen what is on the second screen? Can it be setup for Teams first and then connect via USB-C to be used with zoom or others?

Are they all USB connection or some other wireless?
@Telepresencegear2 жыл бұрын
Hello, all these devices have built in Android Appliances that run the Room version of Zoom, Teams, RingCentral, Etc. A PC is not needed. Zoom Rooms allow wireless sharing from an in-room laptop. Teams & RingCentral require you to join the meeting with your laptop with your camera and audio turned off to share content. They do not require an in room pc.

Do all of these devices have the symmetry option for dedicated live streaming for each individual in a room? I was told only the Neat devices have this feature. Please confirm.

One correction the rally bar has a 5x OPTICAL Zoom. Not digital

Rally has 5X optical and 3X digital. I think the digital is now supported in Teams.

Thanks for the video, great side by side comparison. I see that Neat now shows an MS Teams system for the fall of 2021. Do you know if that would be like the Poly Series X, dual platform or is it locked to MS Teams only? I really like the Neat solution but the ability to change from Zoom to MS Teams is a must have feature.
@Telepresencegear3 жыл бұрын
Hi Trey - Shortly after this video Neat announced Teams capability. Based upon early discussions with Neat this will run similar to the X50 and require a factory reset to change between platforms. Every client is asking for the capability to change between platforms on the fly in the room, yet the hard providers are not allowed to offer this option today.

We tested Neat and Poly and Logi bars quite a bit. Currently Neat is a Zoom only device. We will have a Neat Pro test version soon and see where this takes us. Currently Poly X 50 has a BYOD functioniaty. One needs to attach a USB and HDMI cable from the X50 device to the laptop and run/ start a Teams meeting. The far end users will have a "like zoom room" experience. We too are looking for Zoom and Teams native functionality in the Pad. Should be available soon, because there is demand. In our options the above comparison is acuate. Thanks

Hello, I encounter a bug with Microsoft Teams room android bars Poly X30 + TC8 Up to Date. When you link a personal account to the bar and not a room account, the camera is disabled by default which is normal. The problem is that it displays it active on the TC8 when it is disabled. So the user has to click on deactivate when it is marked active and then activate...which deteriorates the user experience. Do you have the same problem?

Is there a consumer model? I've been looking really hard for something similarly sturdy, but with easy access to remove the iPad, for desk use. Would be nice to have it completely locked when using the pen... seems like a niche to expect both that and a slick design, though...too bad.
