I have endless bumble bees this year. And probably 10 different wasp/bees but no honey. Im trying to see if I can attract any naturally

Wow that is amazing. We have had so few bumbles or native bees this year. It is alarming really. We tried to catch a swarm but no luck so far. I hope you can attract one!

I think figs actually need the woodchips up close for winter. They are one tree you want new shoots for, probably not all year round though but definitely in spring.

Yes, I think so and it accidently turned out that way for us and it survived. We will repeat that this coming winter as having figs in this climate will be amazing.
