I have to say when it happened i said 'Finally!' out loud. The character itself had a huge potential, but... whoever played him - didn't. Claiming to be a nobleman and using title again and again, and reminding everyone 'i am a nobleman' while you did literally nothing to protect your homeland and people under your... protection? You supposed to use your mind to create things like ballistas or protective structures, or bunkers, or secret passages, tonels for evacuation, well protected isolated fireprofed storages for supplies... okay, you don't want to create weapon, i can accept that. It would be at huge help to city guards tho, having some heavy weapons on top of the walls to greet a dragon or two properly. Whatever. Percy never did any of this. How many times city needed his mind? 3? At season 3 he was told 'There is nothing to hide' because only a few made it so far. Because of his choices. So i feel like that. It is 'Finally he died'. No regrets, no sorrow. He got what he deserved.

This is my new favorite fight in the series. It showcases Percy perfectly. He hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned, his friends are helpless to assist him, and he has to play by those limitations. He is not versatile like Scanlan, fast like Vex or Vax or a sheer powerhouse like Grog or Pike. What he does have is patience. Patience, accuracy, strategy, and those are the tools he uses to overcome his opposition. He uses cover and takes the time to line up a perfect shot, because he knows that one perfect hit is more valuable than a dozen missed ones. He uses the environment to his advantage, manipulating circumstances to gain a better position or get the drop on his enemies. And most importantly of all, he never loses his cool, doesn't even consider the impossibility of his circumstance. Because Percy knows that there is a way out of the mess he's in, and he only has to line up the puzzle pieces to make it happen.

I know this isn't the point of the clip, but I love how as we cut away after Pike says, "Sorry, I've always wanted to say that," you can faintly hear Vax say, "It sounded really cool." I just love all of them so much, and their little interactions like that are so cute!

I love how Vax wasn't even pissed, since he could see this coming a mile away. But the shock of seeing his friend leave his sister's room was still there.

I mean, I understand Keyleth is upset that no one listened to her about not trusting raishan, when the reality is, EVERYONE AGREED WITH HER. Trusting raishan was a gambit no one eanted to take, but they all knew their options were limited. And even then, Keyleth still kept pushing it, saying there had to be other options. But you know what would've been more useful than talking about it? LOOKING FOR RUMORS, CLUES, ANYTHING! Anything that points to another solution. She didn't even bother looking herself.
