Well done for pushing yourself. However, this was definitely outside of your skill level. Glad you made it down to tell the tale without an accident. Story for the grand kids for sure.

My son and I were there on Saturday. The bottom of Freeride, and Reddy McRedface in particular, were running pretty well. Ffarside and the top of Freeride were really quick. The pushup to the top was brutal though. Took my DH bike, but the trailbike would have been fine. Just fantastic to be back - Revs was always our favourite place to ride.

When you pronounced couloir wrong, then struggled to get your skis apart….i knew there was going to be trouble! 🤣 Top job though, I know a lot of experienced skiers that have bottled it after looking at the run in at the top. You got down it, and nobody can take that away from you 💪🏼

@@user-zf8jf6cf4s Grand couloir is usually the place you find really good snow at. It's on the north face, it's high in altitude and it's not as much skied on as every other slopes. It's usually bumpy because the machines don't go there, and first comment is right it's amazing fun when there's powder up here

Is this the woods on the back of bardon hill quarry at the start?..I know where the other trails are (don't want every one knowing the location), but the route you take threw there is different to what me and some friends used to ride, there's that many different routes threw there.....That last jump over that rock before the road which crosses over into the lower woods if you look to your left there's a massive hill coming down that's where we used to come out then over the road into the lower woods if you keep going down you come to the old train line embankment at the bottom, the route you took threw the lower woods is also different to ours......It's a great ride and local to me, take care.........

I'm going there in early February before the French school holidays, in the second holiday of my return to skiing after a 35 year break, and the renewal of my skiing journey. Suffice to say after lessons I'll be sticking to green and easy blue runs. Hope all-goes-well.
