The design is a simple field watch and the NATO strap lends itself to that interpretation. At 40 mm, its the modern default size. Classic field watches were 36 mm. Here Citizen produced a classic for its Chandler collection.

STAY AWAY: worst watch ever owned, nothing works as advertized. compass is heratic, altimeter was never right, temperature is average, but need to take it of the wist. Tried all their "calibration" procedure many times, none worked. Replace battery and never worked ( I did replaced 10s of battery watch)...Stay away from northedge - north edge...Since only hour work,

I got this watch as a Christmas present when I was probably 12. I’m 30 now and it still works great! Nice little utilitarian piece that has all the functions it needs and none of the frills that it doesn’t.

This is a complete copy of Skmei 1358 and Skmei 1427...the display and machine is all same, they have procured the Machinery and installed in a different dail and made a different brand out of it. People can go for Skemi 1358 & 1247 instead, it way more cheaper than this one. Don't waste your money and time.

The skemi version was the first one I own, but to me is more like a knock off version, the problem with the skemi the time resets on its own when I hit the watch, move my wrist around or when the temperature gets cold, it fogs up the lens from the inside. so I end up buying North edge Its a bit pricey but worth it, more durable and better quality.

The case is not stainpess steel as you mentioned, it's plated alloy.but very beautifull
