@@ROLARoofRacksAustralia Any update on this? One of the problems with the rola titan is the slat direction (i.e. front to back). It means most conventional bike carriers can't easily be fitted without some kind of adaptor. It is ok to run the product in with the slats in the alternative orientation (i.e. passenger to drivers side)? Obviously I'd be using something square like the 1200x1200.

Hi Ian, it depends on how your racks are fitted but in general yes any rack will have a lower rating off-road due to the vehicles roof rating.

The Prado has a 100kilo max Factory dynamic roof load limit, minus the weight of rack, at say ~25 kilo = 75 kilo then reduce by 1/3rd for off road and your back to about Max 50 kilo, which is maybe 1 extra spare wheel, a 270 degree awning and 4 max tracks and a shovel your probably at or over Max off road loading. That’s why everyone is selling their Rhino racks for exactly this reason. The tracklander racks don’t reduce the dynamic load by 1/3rd for “off sealed roads” so you retain around the full 70-75 kilos capacity when off road which is more sensible. No point spending this sort of coin to not be able to legally put anything on the roof. 🙄👎

Hi King Chief, yes you can fit two side by side on the titan tray and use cambuckle straps to secure them.
