Bro it is the best, from where can I buy the book???? X

Thank you for the upload, I had the book and accompanying cassette back in possibly 1989. but my brother taped over the cassette to make music. This was my first time hearing it in over 35 years though the opening sentence has been with me all this time (slightly wrongly remembered, lol)

One Christmas my husband gifted me the two cassettes of Leonard Rossiter"s A Christmas Carol. Every Christmas Eve afterwards we listened together. After 48 years of a wonderful marriage I listen alone now, but am so grateful for the wonderful holidays Bob gave me. God bless us every one.

I've never heard this before. It's very good, but the version by Bernard Cribbins cannot be matched.

I used to have a copy of this on a double cassette, I used to listen to this as a kid in the very early 80’s. This is the best version. Thank you.

So Steven Pacey is the narrator and Mr Kranky; Patricia Hayes is Grandma and Mrs Kranky; and who was George?

Was there anything Bernard Cribbins didn't do as an actor?? Such a talented man. RIP.

Ever since I could read this story has always been close to my heart. When I feel low it's my go to book and I always end up forgetting what was wrong at the time. Joanne Lumley has always, for me been a legend and 100% gold, shes "AbsolutelyFabulous" So, can u imagine my reaction when I came across this video, a smile from ear to ear with a lil dance. This audio is so relaxing and playful, Joanne was truly the only one to pull this off. Thank you world 😊

I think there is a copy on ebay for £40 at the minute, but I would say that is a bit steep!

This is awesome! thanks for finding this! Still remember when I got the figure of Stratos back in about 1988, then listening to this whilst playing wit Stratos and skeletor, using a toy tera dactyl to stand in for the wyvern, and a big pile of cushions for snake mountain (which I didn't have the figure of). Though in my version, Stratos got to fly Skeletor out over a huge cliff aka the edge of the sofa and drop him to his doom! :D

That's brilliant! I had Snake Mountain in about 1986 and I loved it. It had a microphone built into it, so I could shout "He-Man, you boob!" down it as I dropped He-Man into the trap door haha
@darktenor49672 ай бұрын
@@TheMonkeyGrinder I did get a second hand snake mountain in the early nineties when I was ten, the trapdoor and net were awesome, though sadly the microphone didn't work! :D.
