When it comes to the enjoyment of Tobacco I'm pretty Niche, I vape my Gawith Hoggarth Exclusive Black Cherry pipe tobacco in a Flowermate V5.0 Pro Vape, it's really good and I always get my baccy from Smoke King they're great.

My favourite English blend at the moment. Smooth and almost creamy with a little citrus. I think it’s an oriental/turkish based English blend, i.e, where the Latakia works alongside the oriental leaf.

I try every time I have a cigar to retrohale and I just cant do it. Ive watched video after video and no matter what I do it just wont come out of the nose, so i'd be interested to know your technique👍

I think this must be one of the most under-appreciated English blends. Nice and smooth, easy smoking. It's good for when you're reading or working, good in the morning, good when you want to unwind, and good to have a few tins of!

Nearly everything I’ve learnt over the years is from cigar events and getting out there and asking questions.

If you liked that you need to try Chieftain Blacksmiths Blend. It's also got the Turkish in the blend so has more complexity in the flavour, it's a real attention grabber. Also worth a try is Comoy's Scottish Mixture. It's not a whiskey one, but an English mixture with Black Cavendish, which makes for a lively English.

For anyone else interested in the incredibly niche subject of historical military tobacco use, I've just finished reading _"Tobacco of The Emperor"_ from Headstamp Publishing. It's a fascinating look at the cigarettes, cigars & pipe tobaccos of the Japanese Imperial Army in the early 20th century. The book explains and shows the difference in tobacco quality available to enlisted men compared with their officers, tobacco gifts granted for meritorious service and to mark special events, the different (compared to western) cuts of pipe tobacco and the very different style of Japanese Pipes and even opium laced tobaccos. A wonderful read whilst enjoying a Trident Cigar!

Stunning cigar. I'm new to cigars and had one of these over the weekend. I agree, it's definitely on the medium end of the scale - not too strong, but buttery smooth from start to finish. I, too, had a few small issues with how it burned, but being a novice, that might've been me. All in all, a wonderful cigar that I would choose as my 'everyday smoke' if I could afford it!

A gem of a cigar. I was fortunate to buy few sticks when I was in Malta. They have five years in them. Absolutely delightful to smoke that in my recent trip to Naples, Italy, i bought two boxes of Tradicionales and a box of Divinos. Thanks for the review

My favourite leaf is Dominican Olor. I like it so much I often roll a cigarillo out of one leaf.

I'm more of a New World smoker than Cuban. In terms of quality I personally find then like for like, you'll either get a great one, an ok one or a poor one on both sides. The problem with Cubans however is the fact they're more expensive and it's all because Cubans are seen as the "pinnacle" of cigars when really, certainly for me personally, they're no better than New Worlds. Plus as you say, with New Worlds you get more tobacco varieties which opens up a whole plethora of flavour profiles

The biggest myth about cigars is that you can have _"enough."_ There's always another airtight tub, cedar spill and boveda pack knocking around somewhere...

Ok, ok, I am subscribed, so keep ‘em coming. Good instructions here, though there will be rare occasions when your “charring” light will be unintentionally enough. Also not all tobacco/bowl packs will expand to necessitate a tamp, but I suppose this is all in the 102 lesson.
