The romanian language can be a pain in the ass. I am curious, why do you want to learn it? I am not judging you or anything, i am just curious

I suspect that the rule should be to simply follow the Latin origin for any words of Latin origin, then the initial/final rulefor all others

I think it doesn't feel like a 1/5th replica, this feels so small, the real one would still be small then

That â sound definitely doesn't exist in French. There are words with â such as tâche or château but it is just pronounced "a"

Make an experiment: give the first sentence in Cyrillic (printed) or Latin alphabet to any Ukrainian and see how easily they will make sense out of it. The first sentence almost completely matches the Ukrainian translation of this fragment. Also, the usage of “i” as a joiner word and vowel shift from “e” to “i” in certain positions (in place of the archaic letter yat’) is a feature of Ukrainian language. The former is true for all Slavic languages except Slovene, which uses “in” for “și”. Luckily, the rest of the text sounds more like Romanian than Ukrainian 😄
