Hi! Is the silver trombone a Keilwerth Tone King Deluxe? And if so, from what year if I may ask? I have seen one for sale, and I am wondering if it's a professional "Jazz" trombone and how well it plays. Also I don't know what it would be worth in a good condition.

I have the same horn, Alto and Soprano really fabulous Horns. And very well played.

John Coltrane, Kirk Whalum, and Joshua Redman are my role models on the Tenor. I like Keilwerth's tenor saxophone. I believe soon I will be able to afford the Keilwerth SX90R or Shadow Tenor Sax.

Same horn I play except mine is a 2003. Absolutely the best horn I've ever played. I have played most of the major pro horns, Selmer, Yamaha, Yanagisawa, Cannonball and even some vintage tenors, but nothing is as good as the Keilwerth SX90R. The Cannonball pro horn is close, but the SX90R speaks so well and is so free blowing. Low maintenance. Love Kirk's playing.

Been playing a black nickel SX90R tenor since the early 90s, primarily due to Kirk. Amazing instrument, I'm looking at it right now and will be playing it later today.

Kirk is a big reason why I bought an SX90R tenor in black gold, just like he's holding, back in 1991 and it's never let me down. All original pads, only minor adjustments done and it still plays like a dream. Fantastic horn and an amazing player.

I play Alto Keilwerth also with new Neck.

The more I listen to the sound of the Keilwerth soprano the more I want to get one. Currently I'm playing a Yani WO1 soprano which is a great instrument. But I need bigger and more powerful sound!

I Just bought one of them today. Sx90 II Soprano. Cant wait for it to come 😃. The one I got isn't truly new, but its spent most of its life in the case,so it's like new. I got it for £2150. Which I believe to be a good price. I see you like Johnny Hodges too. He blows a Beautiful Sound. I also love Grover Washington and Bradford Marsalis. Stay cool

I am sponsored by no one. I started playing the Saxophone in 1984 on a used Keilwerth from the 70s and for the next 10 years (until I stopped playing) I never needed any upgrade. When I started playing again, I tried a lot different Saxophones, cheap ones and less cheap ones and nothing reached the level of my first saxophone....at the moment, I play an Amati Toneking from 1950, it sounds as good as the Keilwerth, but it‘s harder to handle. As soon as I will have the money, I‘m gonna buy me another Keilwerth Toneking. You can get them for around 700€ on eBay here in Germany. To be fair: I never played a Selmer Saxophone, because I never had enough money to afford one. May be equal or better, no Idea. But I guess I‘m not the only one who can‘t afford a 5000€ Saxophone.... so other poor players might benefit from my experience...
